“Flowers grace the entrances to the church, however, they need to be watered weekly. Please help in this effort for one week during the summer. Call Vonnie (594-6674), Lois (594-3980) or the church office (594-3989), to volunteer. Also needed are weed clean ups and tidying up the various plantings in the church yard.”

The We CAN June project will be the Union Gospel Mission in Sioux Falls. This ministry began in 1900 and provides food, shelter, clothing, education, rehabilitation, and love. They have lodging enough for 70 men and 48 women and children and offer three meals a day to those in need. You may wonder who goes to the Union Gospel Mission. It includes homeless, transients passing through the area, some are people struggling as they work to get back on their feet, and a few others are individuals that choose to join the discipleship program and become accountable in several areas of their life. How can we help? In addition to financial support, their current newsletter is asking for: boxes of pasta (any type), canned vegetables #10 sized cans, canned fruit #10 sized cans, cases of bottled water, heavy duty 32-gal. trash bags, gas cards for their vans and bleach for their floors. We will be collecting all of the above! If you have any questions, please contact Dan Paulson at 594-3165 or email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
